Abstrak Kajian
The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between workload, work motivation and job satisfaction of Community Based Rehabilitation staff in Negeri Sembilan. A total of 130 female staffs from Seremban, Kuala Pilah and Jempol were selected using purposive sampling techniques and data information were collected by using self-administered questionnaire. The instrument of Quantitative Workload Inventory Spector & Jex (1998) were used to measure the workload and Task Evaluation Questionnaire: Intrinsic Motivation Inventory by McAuley, Duncan & Tammen (1987) were used to measure the work motivation and Job Satisfaction Survey by Spector (1994) were used to measure the job satisfaction. The results showed that there is significant relationship between age of the respondent with the work motivation, between the period of service with the motivation of the respondents (r = .241 and p < .01), between the age of respondents with job satisfaction (r=.191 and p<.01), between workload with job satisfaction (r = -.456 and p > .01) and between the work motivation with job satisfaction (r = .385 and p < .01). in conclusion, workload and work motivation were related to the job satisfaction gained by an employee. Lastly, suggestion and implication will be discussed.
