Abstrak Kajian
This study was conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of vocational education as practiced at Community-Based Rehabilitation Center. This study has been done is to identify the effectiveness of the vocational education for special student through the view of parent and CBR workers. Perceived efficacy is based on four main aspects which are aspect of management, occupation, self-confidence and society. Before that, a pilot test had made at CBR Segamat. 10 people has chosen to do the pilot test with value of Alpha Cronbach’s 0.975. A total number of 220 respondents were randomly selected consisting of 60 officers and 160 PDK parents trainer in the state of Johor and Kelantan. The question consists of 40 items in the questionnaire used in this study. The question of study is a quantitative Likert scale. SPSS version 16.0 was used in analyzing the study. In conclusion, the effectiveness of the management of trainees and social relations were at a high level. As for the effectiveness of aspects of self-confidence and employment after learning of vocational education at the Center for Community Rehabilitation is still moderate. As the recommendation CBR have improved and provide the specific elevation test for their trainer, effectiveness aspects of self-confidence and employment.
